We check your data for printability

Without exception, only qualified and trained personnel will check your data for printability in order to avoid unexpected results.
We check the Trimming Edge, the Size and the Resolution of your printing data, all important factors essential for a perfect final product.

We do, however, ask you to please appreciate that we cannot guarantee correct spelling or colour reproduction. Also excluded from the check are special settings such as transparencies, line thicknesses, colour saturation or folding marks.
As the function "Overprint" is often used as a design feature it is not possible for us to check its correct use.

You will find guidelines and programme files for popular software under "Details" for the respective product or in our "Download Area".

If your printing data includes an incorrect colour profile (e.g. RGB) we shall convert it to the CMYK colour mode which is essential for the offset printing process.

If you are familiar with the use of a colour profile in Adobe® Photoshop®, take a look in our "Download Area" where you will find the appropriate so-called ICC Profile which you can then download.

All in all this additional order item, which can readily be added to the shopping cart of your order, includes a check to the best of our knowledge and belief. If you are not 100% sure about preparing your data we advise you to use this service!

Please understand that our processes are automated to a maximum to allow us to continue to guarantee you a favourable price. It is not possible for us to check all incoming printing data unless this service is expressly desired and ordered. Orders normally go directly to the printing machine without any further manual check.
